Online (Zoom), by phone, or in person at our office in Downtown Orlando. Most people prefer the online option as it’s the fastest way to be seen and it lets you interact more than you can by phone.

Yes. Initial consultations are $400, and last about an hour, depending on your needs. You meet directly with the attorney, and we charge for Suzanne’s time accordingly. Feel free to forward documents to be reviewed in advance of your consultation.

We actually prefer to bill on a flat fee basis for certain well-defined services, such as a simple business incorporation or trademark registration. We will charge a monthly flat fee for clients the Firm serves as outside general counsel. Our policy is not to accept representation on a flat fee basis except in these defined service areas or based on a special arrangement tailored to your particular needs.

When there is an unpredictable element to the work involved – such as litigation or complicated negotiations - Suzanne’s hourly rate is $425. We are often requested to estimate the amount of fees and costs likely to be incurred in connection with a particular matter. Whenever possible we will furnish an estimate based on our professional judgment, but always with a clear understanding that it is not a maximum or fee quotation. The ultimate cost is frequently more or less than the amount estimated.

When someone represents the interests of your business at large, they are your business’s general counsel. As general counsel, we will draft contracts, manage your intellectual property registrations, file annual reports, and otherwise maintain the day-to-day legalities of a business entity. We can also help you find the right attorneys for certain specialized work, such as patent prosecution and cannabis law.  As general counsel, we will also work with litigation counsel hired by your insurer to ensure that your best interests are protected if you are sued on a covered matter. The only thing that we don’t do as general counsel is litigate on your behalf, but we do offer a reduced hourly rate for existing general counsel clients.
